Irate protesting truck drivers are continuing to demonstrate their frustrations as they continue to partially block the R34 and N12 roads in North West.
North West Police spokesperson, Amanda Funani, says that protesting truck drivers have continued to partially block the N12 road between Bloemhof and Wolmaransstad including the R34 this morning.
Funani adds that no violent incidents have been reported and no one has been arrested as police continue to monitor the situation.

The secretary of All Truck Drivers Forum and Allied SA (ATDF ASA), Sifiso Nyathi, had expressed his frustrations with employers and the government for being reluctant in removing foreign nationals from the trucking industry.
He stated that since 2018 they have been negotiating with different ministers and various stakeholders regarding the issue of foreign nationals - with no luck.
Nyathi reiterated that protesting truck drivers will not move from the N12 and R34 roads until Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula and Labour Minister, Thembelani Nxesi address their issues.
