Free State police are requesting the public to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of suspects who have murdered a teacher in Botshabelo.

On Friday (15/9), the police received a murder complaint from a hospital in Botshabelo. Upon arrival, they were informed that Frederick Fezile Mnyobisi (35) was brought to the hospital by his wife in a private vehicle. The police and district surgeon examined the body and discovered it had multiple stab wounds. Mnyobisi was declared dead by the surgeon.

Provincial police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, told OFM News police discovered the attack took place near the Sechaba-se-Maketse Combined School in section H1. The deceased, who is a teacher at the Refihlile Primary School, was robbed of a green Samsung Galaxy A04s. A case of murder has been registered at the Botshabelo Police Station.

Covane called on the public to help police solve the murder case of Mnyobisi. Anyone with information has been requested to contact Seargent Elias Majaha on 082-4668-341 or visit the nearest police station.
