Police seek family of man hit by a car─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 09:33 Tue, 16 May 2023
The Free State police are requesting the public's assistance in locating the family of a man who was hit by a car on the R57 near Sasolburg.
Provincial Police media liaison, Josephine Rani, says a man identified as Richard Bongani Mdluli was hit by a vehicle on Thursday 11 May and was transported to Fezi Ngubentombi Hospital, where he passed away. According to Rani, the deceased was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and had a black bag with him. People who may know Mdluli or his relatives are requested to contact Detective Sergeant Anoesjka Maartens at 016-970-1062 or 083-409-5419.
Meanwhile, the 63-year-old David Bernadus Enslin was reported missing on 11 May 2023 at the Virginia Police Station. It’s alleged that Enslin left his place of residence to go to town, never returned and has not been answering his phone since then. Police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng states that his sister informed police that Enslin has never left their home for a long time. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is requested to contact Detective Warrant Officer Jaco van Rensburg on 082-301-3062.

The search still continues for Kgatliso Edwin Makgetla (28), a university lecturer in Welkom, who was last seen at Calabira in Meloding on Friday 5 May 2023, where he stays with his brother.
