Four arrested for trying to sell a pangolin─── 10:21 Sun, 24 Apr 2022
Four suspects, aged between 33 and 59, will appear before the Mmabatho Magistrate's Court on Monday.
They will be facing charges of wildlife trafficking, under the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act 10 of 2004.
They were arrested by the Hawks' Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit in Mahikeng on Friday, after attempting to sell a pangolin for R250 000.

The team reacted to information regarding the suspects, who were looking for a buyer for the animal.
The suspects were arrested at the Crossing Mall in Mahikeng, where the pangolin was found in the suspects' vehicle.
The vehicle was seized for further investigation.

Meanwhile the pangolin was also taken for safekeeping.
