Although heavy rains in the eastern Free State keep falling, dry taps are anticipated at the Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli Regional Hospital in Qwaqwa.

The situation will also affect the residents residing in Phuthaditjhaba, De Bult, and the Crescent Mall.

This is according to the Maluti-A-Phofung Water's (MAP Water) spokesperson, Kelopile Mongake.

She however mentioned: "Our team is already working on the site where the pipe is burst at the Phuthaditjhaba park near the Phuthaditjhaba police station.

"It is expected that the affected residents will get water through water trucks that have been deployed to their areas as it is not known how long the situation will last."

She apologised for the inconvenience caused.
