The Fidel Castro Building in Bloemfontein has been forced to close its doors after another employee tested positive for Covid-19.
According to spokesperson Setjhaba Maphalla, an employee of the premier’s office reportedly tested positive for the virus on Thursday and the building will be closed from 9 July 2020 throughout the weekend for the decontamination and cleaning processes. The building will re-open on Monday, 13 July 2020 once proper screening and testing processes have been conducted.
OFM News previously reported that a senior official of the Fidel Castro Building tested positive on 26 June 2020 and is currently still in isolation.
