Alleged dagga dealers arrested in NW─── MARVIN NTSANE 07:18 Mon, 24 Feb 2020

Three suspects will face charges of illegal possession of dagga in the Molopo Magistrates’ Court in Mahikeng in the North West today.
Spokesperson for the Directorate of Priority Crime Investigations (DPCI), Tlangelani Rikhotso, says the suspects were travelling with two vehicles to Mahikeng on Saturday.
The police acted on a tip-off. They spotted the vehicles driving into a supposed storage facility and blocked them off.
The suspects were searched and six large bags of compressed dagga were found inside one of the vehicles. The dagga is estimated to be worth R600 000.
This follows after two men allegedly travelling from Lesotho were arrested in Upington with 200kg of dagga estimated to be worth R1.5 million in the Northern Cape last week.
