#Gupta plane grounded by SA court─── 13:26 Mon, 19 Mar 2018

The South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg ruled this morning that a private plane leased by the Gupta family from Export Development Canada (EDC), be returned and stored at Lanseria Airport.
EDC, an export credit agency, lodged an application with the court to ground the plane while the parties were engaged in a dispute in the United Kingdom.
The family have leased a Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft, valued at $41-million, from EDC.
The company asked that the aircraft be grounded until a final order was made, as the tracking system in the plane was currently switched off and they would be unable to monitor the craft’s movements.
The EDC had their application approved, grounding the aircraft registered as ZS-OAK.
The family and their associated companies have been prohibited from using the aircraft.
