Teachers Union, Sadtu, says some of the recommendations in the jobs-for-cash report are undemocratic.
This after a ministerial task team was set up by Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, to investigate claims that teacher and principal posts were being sold in the country.
It found that there were irregularities in the filling of vacant posts at schools in several provinces and Sadtu was implicated.
Union spokesperson, Nomuso Cebi, says one recommendation, namely that the powers of school governing bodies should be limited, is worrying.
