Polokwane - The Zanzibar border post between South Africa and Botswana has been temporarily closed because the Limpopo River has flooded the bridge, the home affairs department said on Friday.
The continued operation of the port of entry had been deemed dangerous for travellers, the department said in a statement.
Travellers were advised to use the nearby Platjan port of entry.
