Bloemfontein Golf Club is ready to host one of the biggest golf spectacles when President Cyril Ramaphosa and his comrades, among others, will play this weekend.
General Manager Trevor Kitching tells OFM News they feel privileged to host President Ramaphosa and others.
The president is set to deliver the ANC's National Executive Committee's (NEC) statement called the January 8 Statement in Mangaung.
This is as the party celebrates its 111th birthday in its original birthplace since it was formed in 1912 at Waaihoek Church in Bloemfontein.

Kitching says at least 125 to 130 golfers or players are set to participate on that day - which is the biggest golf day in Bloemfontein.
"The gold club has been booked for the president and all the players. We [are] also looking forward to making a good spectacle and we want to make sure that it's an event to remember.
"I guess for any golf club to have the country's president playing is a huge privilege," Kitching adds.
He also explained that security is set to be tight during the event.
Meanwhile, the Bloemfontein-based Mangaung Metro Municipality said it is well prepared to host one of the biggest political events in the country.
Thousands of party supporters are expected to flock from all corners of the country to attend the event which will be held at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Rocklands.
Municipal spokesperson, Qondile Khedama, said the event will be favourable for the tourism sector in the metro.
Khedama also mentioned that water and all the essential services will be reconnected to be used by those attending the event.
