Residents of Tswelelang Township near Wolmaransstad in the Maquassi-hills local municipality in North West, have been without running water for more than a week now.
On Saturday, residents were seen queuing at the municipal offices with buckets to fetch water.
Numerous attempts by OFM News to get comment from Maquassi-hills local municipality spokesperson, McCaswell Khumalo, have failed.
Other municipal officials have also been unavailable.
