Police re-arrest Kuruman escapees─── LEATILE LEIEE 12:31 Mon, 27 Jan 2020
Police re-arrested two convicts who escaped from the Kuruman Correctional Facility on Friday 24 January 2020.
This was done with the help of the Kimberley Flying Squad, Kimberley Detectives, Kuruman K9 Unit, Kuruman Neighbourhood Watch, and personnel from the Kuruman Correctional Services,
Nico de Koker was apprehended trying to flee the scene at the near hiking spot close to the correctional facility on 25 January 2020 at about 18:45. Tlotlo Ntwayagae was found hiding under a bed at his girlfriend’s house the following day.
The Provincial Head of Operational Response Service, Brigadier Monica Sebili, applauded the members for their determination in re-arresting the two convicts and ensuring that they are incarcerated.
