Eskom implemented stage 4 load-shedding from 09:00 on Sunday morning.
The embattled power utility eased load-shedding further by lowering the level of power cuts from stages 6 and 5 to 4.
It says stage 4 will be implemented until further notice.
“Eskom will publish a full statement in due course,” continued the shortly worded statement.
