A horrific accident in Malvern, Durban, claimed the lives of two people.
According to paramedics, a motorist lost control of the car and crashed it into a gas station.
One person passed away instantly, and the passenger passed away from his injuries in the hospital.
The patient was discovered trapped inside the car in a critical condition.
To free him, paramedics needed to use hydraulic tools and the Jaws of Life.
The patient experienced a cardiac arrest upon arrival at the hospital and passed away.
