A process has been initiated to conduct workforce analysis.
This, in a tweet made from the Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula’s account.
We have equally initiated a process to conduct a workforce analysis to determine whether employees in various branches of the Department have the necessary skills and capacity to deliver on what they have been employed to do.

Meanwhile; the Department of Employment and Labour in the Free State has issued a total of 346 notices to employers for non-compliance.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Free State departmental spokesperson, Cebisa Siyobi, and follows after a total of 652 businesses were inspected.
The statement goes on to say that 131 businesses were found to be in contravention of labour laws.
The operation was led by the Department of Employment and labour.
The inspections are said to continue well beyond worker’s month in order to keep up with the department’s Annual Performance Plan.
