Fourth learner dies in #HoërskoolDriehoek tragedy─── 08:07 Sun, 03 Feb 2019
A fourth learner has died this morning due to injuries sustained in the Hoërskool Driehoek tragedy in Vanderbijlpark on Friday.
According to Overvaal Stereo's Facebook page, Marnus Nagel, who was in the Intensive Care Unit at the Union Hospital in Alberton, passed away this morning. OFM News is trying to get hold of the relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, the father of one of the pupils who died when a walkway collapsed at Hoërskool Driehoek, told eNCA he doesn't blame anyone for his son's passing. Grade 12 pupil, Roydon Olckers, died in the Hoërskool Driehoek tragedy. He was trapped under the rubble and was still alive when his father found him. Roydon later succumbed to his injuries.
Twenty children are still receiving treatment in various hospitals across Gauteng.
The school has been shut down and declared a crime scene after it was earlier reported that three pupils lost their lives.
