Jaco Peyper has been appointed as referee for the 2012 Absa Currie Cup final.
Jaco Peyper has been appointed as referee for the 2012 Absa Currie Cup final. He will become the 26th referee to handle duties in SA premier domestic competition. Meanwhile, another Free Stater, Lourens van der Merwe, will do duty in the Under-21 final, while Rasta Rashivenga will be in charge of the Under-19 final. This year Peyper was selected to the IRB's merit panel, making him one of the nine top referees in the world. Craig Joubert will officiate in the second promotion relegation match between the Toyota Free State Cheetans and the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
