Tintswalo likened to illegal foreign national─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 11:36 Fri, 16 Feb 2024
“I can confirm Tintswalo (the life of being a South African) exists but the one we know here in the Free State is a foreign national.”
President Cyril Ramaphosa’s fictional character used during the State of the Nation Address has been compared to an illegal foreign national by Forum for Service Delivery’s Free State premier candidate.
Potso Motoko expressed frustration with foreign nationals terrorising citizens, taking job opportunities because of cheap labour, and using money to illegally occupy land and operate illegal stores, especially in townships.
“Yes, Mr President told a story of Tinstwalo and I can confirm Tintswalo (the life of being a South African) exists but the one we know here in the Free State is a foreign national. He came to South Africa just after the dawn of democracy. He came through porous borders and therefore undocumented and illegal in our country,” he said.
Motoko detailed how illegal foreigners have hijacked buildings, and RDPs, and impregnated teenage girls while killing the future of the country by serving children drugs.
During his response to the SONA debate, Ramaphosa admitted people likened to Tintswalo still face many challenges.
‘Tintswalo is deliberately destroying our infrastructure’
Motoko said one of their missions when they get into power will be to get illegal foreign nationals deported. “Tintswalo is deliberately destroying our infrastructure, killing our children and economy with counterfeit and illicit products. Tintswalo your time is over and you’ve overstayed your welcome,” he added.
Motoko who was revealed to the media as the premier candidate earlier this week also highlighted some of their main objectives which include fighting corruption and creation of job opportunities amongst others.
