Matjhabeng Mayor Thanduxolo Khalipha has unveiled two new front end loaders, which will be an addition to the municipality’s fleet.
Each front end loader is valued at R3.7 million. The two are expected to enhance service delivery.
In a Facebook post the municipality said Khalipha and his leadership have embarked on an “unprecedented drive to modernise its operational capabilities”. This recent investment aims to continue this trajectory, with the administration having already committed more than R158 million to upgrading the municipal fleet since taking office.

By equipping the municipality with these new front end Loaders, the administration intends to bolster its capacity to provide high-quality services to the community.
Mayor Khalipha also emphasised the importance of prudent financial management, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to drive positive outcomes and uplift the lives of the people the municipality serves.
According to the Facebook post, the investment of the front end Loaders will directly address the needs of the community, as it leads to improved services and bridges the gaps in areas where there have been shortcomings. It further states the Mayor's approach to enhancing service delivery underscores his commitment to making Matjhabeng a better place for all residents.
