The animal adoption center in Bloemfontein needs dire financial assistance.
The organisation says they have R2 000 in the bank, which is insufficient to pay their bills.
Because of their financial constraints, the centre won’t be able to rescue animals, hand out kennels, do field work, or assist animals in need.
Until they have received a financial boost, they must take drastic measures of closing down the centre.
The organisation had a big outreach and has assisted hundreds of people and animals.
“We believe it was worth it, but no one understands the needs out there. It is heartbreaking to know that we will not be able to do anything more.”
Natalie Kotzê says the organisation is taking care of 70 animals, there are new rescues and sick animals to look after and they have several vet bills to pay.

It costs the centre around R200 000 per month to maintain the animals and some of their bills are now in arrears.
New Beginnings has tried emergency auctions, more fundraising projects, and events to try and bring in money but those were not enough.
The team has started marketing assets for sale on the New Beginnings Facebook page to raise some money.
Dogs and cats can be adopted so that there is room for new animals.
Because of the lack of finances, the organisation has ceased all animal rescue efforts and put a halt to all field operations.
The organisation is asking for donations from anyone to assist them to get out of this difficulty so they can continue rescuing animals and continue with their projects.
