Seven people have sustained injuries during an accident between a bakkie and a taxi on the R70 in the Free State.
According to Emergency Medical Services' (EMS) spokesperson in the Free State, Sipho Towa, the vehicles collided on the R70 between Rosendal and Ficksburg on Tuesday 20 December 2022.
Towa says three people are moderately injured, whilst the other four have suffered minor injuries. He adds that they were all sent to the Phutoloha Hospital in Ficksburg.

The accident happened a few days after a fatal accident that occurred on Saturday 17 December 2022 between a bakkie and a bus, on the N1 road between Ventersburg and Winburg, resulting in the death of three people.
Another accident claimed 12 lives last week, following a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a truck on the N1, next to Candy Farm, 22km from Verkeerdevlei, towards Winburg.
