The newly appointed acting municipal manager of the North West’s Ratlou local municipality, Tumelo Letlojane, intends to rebuild damaged and poorly constructed municipal infrastructure.
Letlojane has been appointed on a three months contract, after Tebogo Chanda's term as municipal manager was not renewed.
Spokesperson, Lesego Metsi, says Letlojane and has already visited current and on-hold municipal projects across the municipal jurisdiction.
Letlojane, who was appointed in Octoer, deems his term as a three months services delivery blitz, which will be monitored by a senior management team from the municipality.
Earlier this year, resident of Madibogo Pan barricaded roads in the area, protestibng road projects between Setlagole and Madibogo.
"We must earn the confidence of our communities through accelerated services delivery implementation, and provide needed intervention", said Letlojane.
