Free State launches Vala Zonke programme─── 09:12 Sun, 07 Aug 2022
Premier Sisi Ntombela and MEC for Police, Roads and Transport William Bulwane will officially launch the Provincial Pothole Repair Programme - Operation Vala Zonke on Monday, 8th August 2022.
The programme aims to eradicate potholes across the Free State Province within the next six months.
The Department will work closely with municipalities and other relevant stakeholders to identify and repair all affected roads with SANRAL taking the lead.
“While national roads are in good condition, we acknowledge that provincial and municipal roads are not and need a decisive national strategy” explained Premier Ntombela.
