Grade 6 learner arrested for alleged murder - VIDEO─── 12:30 Thu, 05 May 2022
After being arrested for the murder of a fellow learner, a minor in grade 6 at the Zama Public Primary School in Zastron is expected to appear in court this afternoon.
He is accused of stabbing a fellow learner to death at the school after the two students got into an argument that turned physical.
According to Peter Kareli, spokesperson for the Free State Police, the suspect stabbed the victim, on Wednesday 4 May 2022, once in the chest and fled the scene. He was arrested later on Wednesday.

“A teacher took the victim in his vehicle - with the knife still stuck in his chest - to the hospital and on his way met the Emergency Medical Services who unfortunately declared the 15-year-old dead before he could reach the hospital,” Kareli added.
