Situation back to normal at Thabong shopping centre─── 14:43 Wed, 14 Jul 2021

The situation at the Thabong shopping centre in Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle returned to normal this morning.
No incidents were reported Tuesday night, but firefighters had to rush to the mall earlier in the afternoon after smoke was spotted from the roof of the mall.
The Emfuleni Fire Brigade quickly rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire before it could spread to other parts of the mall.
It is still unclear whether the fire was caused by looters.
When OFM News revisited the centre on Tuesday afternoon, the shops had been completely looted.
