Missing NW man found dead─── 08:00 Sun, 10 Jan 2021
The body of a North West man that was reported missing in late December has been found.
This came after the police in Pudimoe requested the public to help locate the missing 23-year-old Oratile Mangwekea of Matlhako II village near Pudimoe. Mangwekea’s body was discovered in a veld in Myra village on 7 January after he went missing on 26 December 2020. Police spokesperson, Sabata Mokgwabone, says Mangwekea’s body was partially decomposed and almost unidentifiable. He adds that it was only recently that a number of family members were escorted to the mortuary where they were able to identify Mangwekea through a pair of tekkies he was wearing and his cell phone.
Lastly, Mokgwabone says that further investigation into an inquest docket is being done.
