Vaal residents register for RDP title deeds─── 12:42 Wed, 11 Nov 2020
Residents of Kanana, in Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle, are queuing to register for the title deeds to their RDP houses which were built in 1994.
The elderly, most not wearing masks or exercising social distancing, had been standing on the rain since this morning.
Residents tell OFM News that this process is going to be a challenge, as some people currently occupying these houses bought them from people who did not have the deeds.
However some residents who do not have houses expressed their dissatisfaction, stating some occupants are not South Africans.
Some of these houses are already in a dilapidated state.
