#CoronavirusFS: Lengau traffic centre reopens | News Article

Free State Police, Roads, and Transport Department confirms the re-opening of the Lengau Drivers Licensing and Testing Centre in Bloemfontein.

This after it was closed due to a Covid-19 confirmed case. Departmental spokesperson, Hillary Mophethe, says all health protocols have been followed, and deep cleaning of the building has been done after one of the employees tested positive.

She says the testing centre will officially re-open on July 13. Mophethe, meanwhile, also confirms there has been a positive case of an employee at the testing centre in Welkom and it will be closed from Thursday for deep cleaning and decontamination.

“All members who came into contact with the infected employee have been directed to undergo screening and testing for the virus. The centre will reopen as soon as all health protocols have been observed” she said.

She adds the testing centre in Harrismith will remain closed as employees are still awaiting their Covid-19 test results.
