#NCSOPA: Galeshewe hospital to receive 21 new ambulances─── PULANE CHOANE 17:53 Fri, 05 Jul 2019
Twenty-one new state of the art ambulances will be delivered at the Galeshewe Day Hospital in Kimberley later this afternoon.
This is according to the Premier of the Northern Cape, Zamani Saul, who revealed this during his State of the Province Address today.
Saul told members of the audience that the delivery will be made at the said hospital at 15:00 and forms part of his commitment to accelerating services within the provincial health department and also ensuring that people don't have to wait long times for ambulances to arrive.
This is the second batch from a group of about 63 which he bought last month. When he broke the announcement of the large purchase last month, he initially delivered 27 ambulances to the Robert Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley. It remains yet to be seen where the remainder will be sent to.
