One injured in Bethlehem collision between train and vehicle─── PULANE CHOANE 13:10 Tue, 04 Jun 2019
One person has been transported to the Hoogland Medi-Clinic hospital in Bethlehem following a collision between a luxury vehicle and a train earlier this morning around 10:00.
This is according to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) spokesperson in the Free State, Sipho Towa, who said that the patient sustained moderate injuries and is receiving medical attention.
OFM News is in possession on an image that shows the luxury vehicle slanted and on the train tracks, with a few health and law enforcement officials on the scene. Further details on the incident remain sketchy, however, police spokesperson in the area, Puleng Lebakeng, confirmed the incident and said so far, no case has been registered with regards to the matter but processes to register it are underway. She also stated that police would issue a statement on the matter after lunch today.
