According to experts, mysterious symbols found in a desert in China might be "spy satellite targets".
According to livescience.com, Google Maps images of the Gobi Desert in China have revealed a number of weird patterns. "The media - from mainstream to fringe - has wildly speculated that they might be Chinese weapons-testing sites, satellite calibration targets, street maps of Washington, D.C., and New York City, or even messages to (or from) aliens."
