Weird Wide Web - What you didn't know about coffee | News Article

Did you know, drinking a cup coffee on a daily basis could actually be good for your health? Yep! have enough coffee on a daily basis has a lot of health benefits.

Coffee! The kick starter to your morning and that drink that keeps you going throughout the day. Many of us enjoy a good cup or two a day, we can't start the day without it and can't really get through that 3rd meeting of the day without it either. But did you know that coffee can actually be healthy?

According to femalefirst, drinking coffee on a daily basis cuts the risk of an early death and is associated with a lower risk of ailments such as cardiovascular disease.  New research has revealed that two to three cups of the beverage every day cuts the risk of an early death and is associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.

The findings applied to ground, instant and decaffeinated versions of the drink and scientists argue that coffee consumption should be considered part of a healthy lifestyle.  Compared with not drinking coffee, it was associated with a 14 per cent, 27 per cent and 11 per cent lower likelihood of death during the 12-year study period for decaffeinated, ground and instant preparations respectively.

Study author Professor Peter Kistler, of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Research Institute in Australia, said: "In this large, observational study ground, instant and decaffeinated coffee were associated with equivalent reductions in the incidence of cardiovascular disease and death or any cause. "The results suggest that mild to moderate intake of ground, instant and decaffeinated coffee should be considered part of a healthy lifestyle."

Now we are not saying you should have 10 liters of coffee a day, that would probably be more dangerous than healthy, but 2 to 3 cups a day might just do you some good.  Read more on this research and many others like it by clicking here.
