While the Bloemfontein-based Gallants must travel, they will face the National First Division team, Durban City, at the Chatsworth Stadium.

Durban City, formerly known as Maritzburg United, won’t be an easy opponent as they are the league leaders in the NFD and will enjoy a home-ground advantage.

Gallants reached the quarter-finals with a 1-0 away win against Pretoria Callies at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, while on Sunday, they claimed a controversial 1-0 victory against AmaZulu at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Durban City, in turn, beat Lerumo Lions 2-0 in the Round of 32, while they stunned the high-flying TS Galaxy 2-1 in the Round of 16. The Rockets went into the game against Durban City on the back of a 12-match unbeaten streak. During this purple patch, the team from Nelspruit won seven games and drew five times to climb up to fourth on the PSL log.

SuperSport United will be at home to the defending champions, Orlando Pirates.

Stellenbosch FC will take on Kaizer Chiefs at home, while Mamelodi Sundowns will be up against Royal AM, Milford FC, or Sekhukhune United.

Royal AM is yet to play Milford FC in the Round of 32, with the winner of that match taking on Sekhukhune United for a place in the quarter-finals. 

At this stage, it remains to be seen what course of action the PSL will take regarding the Royal AM saga, which has caused severe delays in the cup games. It has been reported that the club will be sold due to their R40 million debt to SARS.

The quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup are scheduled to be played on the weekend of 7 to 9 March.
