The Lions flyhalf Kade Wolhuter will run out against the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday in a crucial Currie Cup fixture for both teams.
Wolhuter returns from an injury and has been named in the starting XV for the cat fight against the defending champions.
Upfront, Morgan Naude, starts at loosehead prop, while the captain Jaco Visagie is back at hooker to lead the visitors from Johannesburg. In addition, Tiaan Wessels, will start at 8th-man for the game.
A strong bench has been named with the seasoned campaigners Asenathi Ntlabakanye, JC Pretorius and Marius Louw included for some impact. The coach Mzwakhe Nkosi said they are expecting the Cheetahs to throw the kitchen sink at them and it’s a matter of sticking to the systems.

“Having said that, our performance was far from perfect even though we were happy with the result and the five points.

“We’ve had an opportunity to remedy a few things of concern for us, we’re travelling with confidence to walk away with a positive result. It’s getting to the business end of the competition, and these next couple of rounds are critical in terms of the standings and the fight for the play-offs.
“We hope to put our best foot forward and ensure we’re at the races come that time.”
Saturday’s battle of the cats at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 17:00.
