Province enter the game off a 49-3 defeat to the British & Irish Lions on Saturday, while the Cheetahs haven’t played since beating the Pumas 17-16 some 11 days ago.

The Cheetahs opted for continuity with a change to the team here-and-there.

The Cheetahs captain, Ruan Pienaar, told OFM Sport that a match against Province is always a tight affair.

“Both teams are sort of rebuilding their squads and trying to team together every week.

“They are an exciting team. They've got a good pack of forwards and they have a lot of pace in the backline.

“Province and the Cheetahs is always an exciting game. Both teams play a good brand of rugby, so Wednesday’s game won't be any different.”

Wednesday afternoon's match at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 16:45.
