WATCH: Louzanne run in World Champs final at 17:41─── MORGAN PIEK 10:59 Fri, 15 Nov 2019

The blind Paralympian, Louzanne Coetzee, of Bloemfontein will target the gold in Dubai this evening when she competes in the final of the woman’s T11 1500m at the Para World Championships.
Yesterday Coetzee qualified for the final when she ran a time of 4:59.22 in her heat.
Ranked number one in the world and considered favourite for the gold, she was, however, the slowest qualifier.
She will once again be assisted in the race by Bloemfontein-based soldier, Xavier Adams, who is in 44 Parachute Brigade.
Mexico’s Monica Olivia Rodriguez Saavedra did fire a warning shot by winning the second heat in 4:53.63.
This evening’s woman’s T11 1500m final will start at 17:41 and is the penultimate event of the World Championships.
