Pretoria - Four expelled EFF Members of Parliament are in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria today in an attempt to stop the party from replacing them as members of the house.
The four were expelled after being found guilty of convening an unauthorised media conference and failing to attend parliament.
The party says the behaviour of the members goes against its constitution.
One of the expelled members, Mpho Ramakatsa, believes they have a strong case.
