Raging fires have destroyed hundreds of homes in George and surrounding areas in the Western Cape. More than 800 people have been displaced.
Disaster management teams are battling the blaze which has been burning for several days.
As a result of smoke, motorists and residents in George are urged to be cautious and keep their windows closed.
Donations towards the firefighting efforts can be made to the George Fire Brigade.
Some areas are being evacuated.
