The sky at De Brug, approximately 29 kilometres outside of Bloemfontein in the direction of Kimberley, was lit up at the annual night shooting exercise last (Friday) night.
Leon Jaftha from 1 SA Tank Regiment earlier this week invited the public to attend and watch battle tanks shoot it out in a safe environment.
The action started just before dusk and lasted for about two hours with six tanks' impressive firing. OFM News' Morgan Piek attended this popular annual event.
