WATCH: #CarteBlanche, #OFMNews celebrates journalism─── 17:47 Mon, 13 Aug 2018
In their first-ever press junket together, the studio anchors of Carte Blanche, Derek Watts, Devi Sankaree Govender and Macfarlane Moleli, today celebrated 30 years of investigative journalism with OFM News and Bloemfontein Courant.
These three top-notch TV journalists from Carte Blanche paid a visit to Central Media Group’s offices this morning, much to the surprise of all staff members. And not all people celebrate when Carte Blanche visits them.
It was quite a delight for the OFM and Bloemfontein Courant journalists to meet these award-winning investigative journalists and being able to interview them. Watts has been with Carte Blanche since the show’s very first broadcast. Govender’s stint started 16 years ago, and Moleli joined the team last year.
The three presenters are visiting Bloemfontein in preparation for Carte Blanche’s milestone 30th anniversary on M-Net, which will be celebrated in two weeks’ time.
M-Net will air a 90-minute long birthday show on Sunday 26 August 2018 from 19:00. The show will reminisce about many of Carte Blanche’s highlights and remarkable stories over the years.
