Some light rain is expected throughout central South Africa, especially in the Free State this week, up until the weekend.
The South African Weather Service’s Michael Nethavhani says western coastal areas is drawing moisture from the central part of the continent. This can result in scattered showers and thundershowers in the Northern Cape spreading to the Eastern Free State this week.
He also says warm temperatures of up to 32 degrees Celsius are expected this week, resulting in scattered showers. Nethavhani says rain conditions are expected to clear up by Saturday. Mild temperatures can be expected across the country.
