Two women die in Sasolburg crash─── MARK STEENBOK 17:23 Thu, 30 Nov 2017
Two women were fatally injured when a truck collided with a light motor vehicle in Sasolburg earlier today.
ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, says the impact of the collision caused the car to overturn. He says when paramedics arrived on the scene the truck was found lying on its side spread across two lanes.
He says the two women were found inside the vehicle and nothing could be done for them. A third woman was transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition
“The third woman was found with numerous injuries and was in a critical condition. Paramedics treated the woman and provided her with advanced life support interventions before she was transported by another service, under ER24 advanced life support supervision, to a nearby hospital. The driver of the truck was assessed and found to have escaped injury,” says Meiring.
