The City of Bloemfontein is getting ready for a jam-packed weekend of rugby at the Toyota Stadium.

The Toyota Cheetahs take on the Ospreys from Wales in the Guinness Pro14 on Friday and on Saturday the Springboks want to bounce back against the Wallabies.

According to the Sales and Marketing Executive for the Cheetahs, Kobus le Roux, spectators who present their Test ticket at the ticket office on Friday may collect a free ticket for the Cheetahs’ game against Ospreys.

“The Toyota Cheetahs are excited about their match.

“The ticket sales are running quite nicely at the moment. We are also hoping that a full house will attend the Test match [on Saturday],” says Le Roux.

Le Roux expects about 40 000 people to attend the Springbok vs Wallabies game on Saturday at 5pm in Bloemfontein.

Springbok rugby coach, Allister Coetzee, says the Springboks are ready to take on the Wallabies, even though they expect another tough Test.

Springbok rugby captain, Eben Etzebeth, says the Springboks will be looking to bounce back this weekend and that the last results do not define them as a team. Etzebeth was referring to the game against New Zealand two weeks ago when the Boks lost 57-0 against the All Blacks.

The Captain said the team is excited and that they should just play the game minute by minute.

South Africans’ blood will once again be green this weekend.
