Fire breaks out in Welkom─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 16:31 Thu, 31 Aug 2017

The Matjhabeng Municipality’s Fire Brigade is currently attending to the fire that broke out in Welkom earlier today.
Chief Fire Officer, Lungile Khuze, confirms the fire broke out in the industrial area at 3rd Street in Voorspoed East.
He, however, at this stage cannot confirm whether there are explosive materials involved at the recycling company which is burning.
Khuze says no injuries have yet been reported, and officials are on the scene. He warns motorists to be vigilant.
