Bloemfontein - The Mangaung Metro has written to the Minister of Water to request water from the Katse Dam in Lesotho.
Bloem Water Chairperson, Tefetso Phitsane, says if there is not enough rain by the middle of December, Mangaung will be in serious trouble.
Residents have once again been urged to adhere to water restrictions which include not watering lawns, and not using hosepipes or irrigation systems.
