Motheo College burns, fingers pointing at some staff members─── REFILWE GAESWE 12:47 Tue, 05 Apr 2016
Bloemfontein - Motheo TVET College’s Bloemfontein campus went up in flames this morning.
Spokesperson Lame Morubane says the reception area of the campus manager’s office, as well as some classes for the National Curriculum Vocational (NCV) that cater for students who haven’t completed their matric, were set alight.
Morubane couldn’t further reveal what was damaged, emphasising that management and police are in a meeting, discussing the incident.
“When we got here, we spoke to the security guys trying to find out what could have led to the burning of the school and it is alleged that it is some of the staff members who did it. We are still not sure of the motive behind this and we will reveal everything as soon as we have all the information.”
