Klerksdorp - The Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital Complex recently opened its Specialised Adolescent
Clinic.
The Clinic is one of the strategic interventions by hospital management to deal with the current disease profile of the local community.
Young citizens are particularly vulnerable and mostly at risk of chronic conditions.
According to Dr Omphile Mekgoe adolescence is a difficult period with unique challenges for teenagers, with specific emphasis on lifestyle.
