Kimberley - Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas has announced her provincial executive committee.
She retained John Block and Alvin Botes, both currently under investigation for fraud and corruption. Block will once again head up the Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Department, while Botes remains MEC for Cooperative Governance.
Lucas says in her new term her biggest challenge will be to create jobs and try and better the lives of all communities in the province.
Lucas appointed two new MEC’s, Lebogang Motlhaping for Sports, Arts and Culture and Barbara Bartlett for Transport, Safety and Liaison.
