Canada lifts SA travel ban─── 10:32 Sat, 18 Dec 2021

Canada has lifted travel bans on ten African countries, including South Africa.
The other countries off the list are Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Nigeria, Malawi and Egypt.
Canada will resume requiring pre-arrival tests for all incoming travellers.
You will need a negative test from Tuesday.
The government says the ban was put in place due to the outbreak of the Omicron variant.
"It is expected the sheer number of (Omicron) cases could inundate the health system in a very short period of time," said Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam.
